Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) at the Montana Chemical Dependency Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing services after hours. Responsibilities include crisis management, patient care consultation, and reviewing incidents and grievances.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and treatment technicians. The role requires a Montana RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and at least two years of nursing experience, with supervisory experience

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana Chemical Dependency Center.

This position is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for supervising nursing services for MCDC after normal business hours. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, monitoring and evaluating nursing services, providing immediate assistance when needed, client care consultation, and problem solving and decision-making during crisis situations. This role also can entail coordinating and reviewing unusual incidents, patient grievances, complaints, and allegations of abuse. This position provides direct supervision for professional registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and treatment technicians. This position is expected to work a 4-10 hour evening/night shift schedule with variability to attend trainings and/or meetings.
