Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a nursing degree.
  • Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Montana or eligible to obtain Montana licensure.

  • Knowledge of nursing, medications, and treatment planning.
  • Ability to plan and implement appropriate nursing care interventions.
  • Ability to provide client assessment and appropriate documentation.

Responsibilities

Position Title: Registered Nurse 2 - (26140717)

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity for 1 day shift 6:00am to 6:00pm and one Night shift 6:00pm to 6:00am Registered Nurse at the Intensive Behavior Center. This schedule rotates 36/48. This position closes at 9 am on 4.17.26.

The Intensive Behavior Center (IBC) is an intensive, short-term treatment facility in Boulder, Montana for individuals who have intellectual disabilities. This 12-bed facility provides an environment for building healthy, effective, and fulfilling lives so those receiving treatment can live successfully in the community after discharge.

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide assistance and support to clients in a therapeutic environment. This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for the adult clients in the facility.
