Job summary

Solara Care Solutions is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional clinical care and leadership. This position provides direct nursing services, case management, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Registered Nurse.
• Must hold a valid license for the State of Florida or show proof of such.
• Must have valid state driver’s license and proof of motor vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counsel, care and health teaching of the ill, injured, or infirm, and maintenance of health and prevention of illness of others.
• Complete initial assessment within 24–48 hours of client admission and prepare care plan.
• Explain procedures, treatments, medications, and care plan to client and family as appropriate.
• Provide progress notes to client’s healthcare provider and report changes or deviations from the plan at least every 60 days.
• Direct activities of clinical care to LPNs, CNAs and other staff in home care.
• Provide written instructions and supervise the staff in the home.

Experience

Must have knowledge of all phases of nursing care to residents and previous experience in a convalescent home, skilled nursing facility, or general hospital with supervisory or charge nurse abilities. Some experience in geriatrics is preferable.
