Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks a Surgical/Trauma ICU nurse for a fast-paced 15-bed unit in a Level 1 facility. The assignment is 13 weeks with night shifts and a demanding schedule.

Available hours are 36 or 48 per week, with every other weekend required and two of three winter holidays. BLS and ACLS certification, VA license submissions, and Epic EHR experience are required. Applicants must adhere to float policy and adapt quickly to high-acuity postoperative and trauma care.

Surgical/Trauma ICU Nurse Position

Unit Description

The Surgical/Trauma ICU is a fast-paced, 15-bed intensive care unit within a level 1 facility, specializing in adult surgical and trauma critical care patients.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
• Available hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Shift and Scheduling

• Night shift
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Up to 40 hours can be approved for time off

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Must comply with the facility’s float policy
• VA license pending submissions accepted
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system required
