Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the Trauma ICU on a 13-week assignment in Tyler, TX. Day shift, 12-hour shifts with a 2-patient cap and ICU float as needed. Active RN license (state or compact) is required, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, PALS/TNCC preferred.
Two years of nursing experience, trauma ICU preferred. Responsibilities include ventilator management, ICP monitoring, blood product administration, IV starts, and multidisciplinary collaboration with IV teams and respiratory services.

Must-Have:
Description: Join a dynamic Trauma ICU team in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a trauma ICU setting. You will manage up to 2 patients at a time. You must be competent in BiPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration. Experience with ventilated patients and central line care/management is essential. Candidates should be skilled in ICP monitoring and the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Starting and maintaining IVs, as well as ventilator management, are critical components of this role. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. The daily census is around 14 patients with an average of 14 rooms available. You will provide care primarily for adult patients. Flexibility to float to ICU, IMC, and Tele as needed is required. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
