Job summary

Ascension’s Via Christi Village Ridge in Wichita, KS is seeking a Temporary Full-Time RN to provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents and implement individualized care plans.

You will coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, monitor patient changes, and support safe discharge planning while upholding clinical standards. Requires RN licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred; drivers license preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS provider within 1 month of hire date.
• Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire date.
• ALS preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drivers License preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
