Job summary

Castleview Hospital in Price, Utah, is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. You will perform nursing interventions, document care, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Applicants should hold a Utah RN license or compact license with Utah endorsement and an associate’s degree. Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS are required; one year of experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

Whatwe'relooking for

Applicants should have a current Utah RN license OR a compact license with Utah endorsement and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS are required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:

Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds Required
