Job summary

The Greens at Gastonia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Warrior Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team in Gastonia, NC. This full-time role offers 16-hour weekend shifts, weekend pay, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active North Carolina RN license is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations throughout the weekend.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care per individualized plans.
• Supervise, support, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Perform resident assessments and assist with medications, treatments, and documentation as needed.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of support for the weekend nursing team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current CPR certification

• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred

• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and provide direction to the nursing team
