Job summary

The Greens at Gastonia is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Warrior Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This full-time weekend-focused role offers 16-hour shifts and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus additional weekend compensation.

As a weekend leadership touchpoint, you will oversee weekend nursing operations, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and coordinate admissions and discharges while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current North Carolina RN license, active.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations throughout the weekend
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with their individualized plans of care
• Supervise, support, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Perform resident assessments and assist with medications, treatments, and documentation as needed
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of support for the weekend nursing team
