• BSN preferred.
• CNOR preferred.
• AORN membership preferred.
• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) preferred.

Compensation

Salary Range: $52.00 - $78.45 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides professional perioperative nursing care. Coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines. RN II requires minimum six (6) months of recent full-time operating room experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent and/or has been deemed competent by the department manager. The RN III, RN IV, RN V performs similar patient care duties but accepts higher degrees of leadership and education. Specific task elements are generally outlined below and may be found in department task lists and competency check off lists. May perform specialized tasks as outlined in the position competency check‑off and task elements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum 6 months recent full-time Operating Room RN experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent

Preferred:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• Member of Association of Perioperative Nurses (AORN)
• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
