Job summary

Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, CA seeks a Labor & Delivery RN to provide specialized care before, during, and after labor. This role requires an active CA RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, EFM training within 2 years or 6 months, and NRP within 3 months of hire.

Experience in labor and delivery (min 2 years) is preferred; BSN is a plus. Competitive benefits and paid time off are offered as part of a community-owned, not-for-profit health system.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Evidence of Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) within last 2 years or within 6 months of hire.
• NRP Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.

Compensation

Salary Range: $50.75 - $78.45 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Position Overview: Provides specialized nursing care to obstetrical patients before, during, and after labor and delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within 6 months of hire
• Evidence of Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) class taken within the last 2 years or to be taken within 6 months hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification within 3 months of hire
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience

Preferred:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute hospital experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
• RNC-OB- Registered Nurse, Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics
