Texas Health Resources' Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery in Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Surgery department in a PRN-as-needed capacity. The role covers pre-procedure, intra-procedure and recovery areas, with Monday and Tuesday availability preferred and no weekends or holidays.

You will join a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on patient safety, confidentiality, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree of Nursing
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire
• BCLS required before independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• PALS within 90 days of hire
• CPI training within 90 days required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment

Work location:

• Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093

Work hours:

• PRN-As Needed/Days Variable Shifts - Monday and Tuesday availability preferred

Surgery Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need:

• Nursing Diploma required or
• Associate's Degree of Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree of Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required
• Experience in a procedural area (pre, procedure, recovery) preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire and
• PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire and
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
