St. Mary’s Healthcare in the Capital Region is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for the evening shift to oversee nursing and support staff, assign patient care, and monitor outcomes to ensure high-quality service.
The position requires a New York RN license, a minimum of five years as a registered nurse with at least two years in a supervisory role, and exceptional organizational and communication skills to lead a team in a fast-paced setting.

Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff; may provide input on hiring, training, development, and evaluations.
Assess daily patient care needs and develop/distribute patient care assignments to ensure appropriate care.
Evaluate patient care effectiveness and address issues impacting outcomes.
Ensure resident safety by identifying hazards and initiating corrective actions.
Respond to patient care complaints through established channels.
Required: RN
Minimum 5 years as a Registered Nurse, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Current and valid RN license in New York State.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to apply critical thinking in all aspects of the role.
Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and composure.
Excellent customer service skills; integrity, friendliness, and compassion.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English!
