Job summary

Rego Park Health Care in Queens, New York is seeking a highly skilled RN Supervisor to lead nursing services. You will create and implement nursing policies, manage medication schedules, and ensure high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate holds ASN or BSN, a current RN license with BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of nursing experience including leadership. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday day shift and a competitive hourly salary of $55–$60.

Qualifications

  • Education: ASN or BSN.
  • Experience: 1 year of RN experience with at least 1 year in leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Certifications: Current RN license, BLS and ACLS.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement nursing policies to guide care delivery.
  • Manage medication schedules and coordinate with medical team to prevent errors.
  • Promote staff development through feedback and reviews.
  • Stay informed on nursing trends and ambulatory care practices, mentor staff.
  • Communicate with patients and families, providing emotional support as needed.
  • Assess, treat, and discharge patients following hospital policies and regulations.
  • Maintain patient and employee records ensuring HIPAA compliance and data accuracy.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, nursing staff, and physicians to ensure coordinated care.

Job Summary

Rego Park Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team in Queens, New York. As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing nursing policies, managing medication schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Create and implement nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment, planning, prioritizing, and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members
  • Medication Management: Manage medication schedules and ensure communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors
  • Staff Development: Encourage all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care, conducting regular staff reviews and providing feedback
  • Knowledge and Education: Maintain knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care, educating teams and mentoring staff members
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients and their family members as needed, offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress
  • Patient Care: Assess, process, and discharge patients, ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with hospital policy and regulations
  • Record Keeping: Manage patient and employee records, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date, and that HIPAA regulations and quality standards are met
  • Communication: Provide a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff, and physicians, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in patient care
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Certifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification (required)
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
