Live the Mission:
There are two (2) RN Working Supervisor Positions:
- Working Baylor Supervisor: The hours are Saturday 7 PM - Sunday 7 AM, and Sunday 7 PM - Monday 7 AM. The Baylor shift receives 32 hours of pay for working 24 hours.
- Working 11 PM - 7 AM Supervisor: For Wednesday night, Thursday night, and Friday night (24 hours per week).
Position Summary:
The RN Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of patient care and services. Promotes quality care through a collaborative process that monitors, evaluates, and coordinates services according to patient needs. Works with patients and families in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active RN license in good standing throughout employment.
- Two (2) years’ nursing experience; geriatric nursing experience preferred. Must have CPR certification upon hire or during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities.
- Implement and interpret department programs, goals, policies, and procedures.
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
- Maintain professional relationships with all associates and vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information.
- Follow company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
- Adhere to Life Care’s Code of Conduct and complete mandatory training.
Essential Functions:
- Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services to promote highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Evaluate the quality of patient care daily.
- Direct licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs and reporting requirements.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
- Assist in patient evacuation when necessary.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance.
- Use reasoning skills and good judgment.
- Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Perform physical activities like sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking during work hours.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
