Job summary

Gasport Skilled Rehab is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team in a full-time, in-person role in New York. The supervisor will schedule and assign staff, ensure high-quality resident care, monitor vital signs, develop and modify care plans, and communicate with physicians and specialists to coordinate treatment.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW:

RN Duties Include:

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor, complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
• Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration as needed upon assessment.
• Care Plan development and modification
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
• Administer high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans.
• Monitor and report any changes in resident symptoms or behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding resident care.
• Educate residents on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents.
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:
