Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for their Medical/Surgical unit in Macon, Georgia. The unit provides comprehensive care in a 20-bed stroke unit with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care, applying clinical decision-making, and ensuring patient safety. This role includes a rotating shift schedule, with a commitment to providing exceptional compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

3–12-hour shifts per week. Days, 7:00am-7:00pm. Rotating Weekends and Holidays.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work

5 East is a 20 bed stroke unit which has just passed our 16th year of being DNV/Joint Commission Stroke certified. We work closely with our care navigators, hospitalists as well as our neuro hospitalists to ensure quality outcomes giving the patients the best chance of returning to normal function as possible.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
