Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Georgia seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our 5 East stroke unit. You will collaborate with care navigators, hospitalists, and neuro hospitalists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will use evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and compassionate communication to maintain a safe environment and positive patient outcomes across the care continuum. The hospital is known for nursing excellence and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of accredited or approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to ensure safety and quality across the patient care continuum.

Where You Will Work

5 East is a 20 bed stroke unit which has just passed our 16th year of being DNV/Joint Commission Stroke certified.. We work closely with our care navigators, hospitalist as well as our neuro hospitalists to ensure quality outcomes giving the patients the best chance of returning to normal function as possible.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Add additional preferred qualifications

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
