Job summary

Ashton Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. We offer shifts 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am with every other weekend. An unrestricted RN license is required.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time employees. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to residents.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care and services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit, ensuring staff are capable of providing appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Conduct assessments of residents and notify the physician of changes in status and implement new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Select and institute nursing interventions to stabilize residents and prevent complications.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the RN may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Conduct assessments of the residents and notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
