Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - St. Louis in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Charge Nurse to join our dedicated team.

You will deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process and work with an interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans that promote recovery. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the care team, monitor patient status, and assist with discharge planning to ensure safe transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum six months medical/surgical acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians and supervisors.

How You'll Make An Impact

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be a trusted partner in our patients' recovery journeys. You will:

Qualifications And Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

Additional Requirements Include

• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Preferred
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is located on North Outer Forty Road in Chesterfield, in western St. Louis County, near Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions.
