Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - St. Louis seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts in our rehabilitation unit. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, work with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications include MO licensure as an LPN, CPR/BCLS certification, and 2+ years in rehabilitative or acute care settings. We value teamwork, communication, and professional growth within a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with current licensure in the state. BSN preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification required. ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians and supervisors.
• Assist with discharge planning to support safe, effective transitions.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state, BSN preferred.
• Mandatory child and adult abuse certificate required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.

Additional requirements include:

• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is located on North Outer Forty Road in Chesterfield, in western St. Louis County, near Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions.
