Job summary

ChristianaCare seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Radiology Care Unit in Newark/Wilmington campuses. This part-time role requires 56 hours per pay period across 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, with on-call duties and weekend/holiday commitments per department guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold a BSN (or are pursuing one within three years), BLS and ACLS, and have at least two years in acute care. IV certification and moderate sedation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• At least two years of experience in acute care (prefer Critical Care, Stepdown, ED or PACU).
• PALS preferred – must get within 6 months.
• IV Certified preferred.
• Moderate sedation experience preferred.

The scope of services on the Radiology Care Unit (RCU) encompasses a variety of diagnoses/ testing including, but not limited to, paracentesis, CT guided biopsies, Fluoro guided LP/myelograms, US guided biopsies, CT guided drain placement including monitoring and recovery of general anesthesia and moderate sedation.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
