Job summary

Christiana Care in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the 3B General Medical Unit on a part-time basis (24 hrs/week). Shifts offered include 12-hour nights (7p-7a) or 3 eight-hour shifts (11p-7a), with weekend/holiday coverage per department guidelines.

The 3B unit is a 32-bed telemetry-capable inpatient team caring for adult and geriatric patients with conditions like COPD, pneumonia, withdrawal syndromes, diabetes, cellulitis, and more.

Qualifications

• Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
• BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
• Minimum 1 year of acute/sub-acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 3B General Medical Unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adults and geriatrics.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition.

In Newark, DEChristiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 3B General Medical Unit.Unit3B is a 32-bed inpatient General Medical Unit with Telemetry, which provides scheduled and emergent care/procedures on a 24-hour basis. The unit is designed to accommodate 32 patients who need inpatient care to treat their diagnosis. The patient population cared for in this area includes adult and geriatric patients. The conditions of patients cared for in this area can be described as fair and serious. The patients are received/transferred/admitted from home, the emergency department, physician’s offices, and other units within the hospital setting.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
• BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
• RN must have at least one year experience in acute care or sub-acute care.
• BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
