Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center’s 4 Central unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a pulmonary medical/surgical floor. You will deliver high-quality patient care, coordinating through the nursing process in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state of practice, and BLS certification. Night shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays are included in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

4 Central is a dynamic 22-bed Pulmonary Medical/ Surgical floor. The unit is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a variety of respiratory conditions. Our team specializes in the management of complex pulmonary diagnoses, providing nurses with a strong clinical foundation and opportunities to build advanced assessment and critical thinking skills.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.


• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
