Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center's 4 Central Pulmonary unit is looking for a skilled RN to join a fast-paced, patient-centered team. You will deliver and coordinate comprehensive care using the nursing process across respiratory conditions, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.

This 36-hour-per-week role offers night shifts (7pm-7am), 3-12 hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

4 Central is a dynamic 22-bed Pulmonary unit dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a variety of respiratory conditions. Our team specializes in the management of complex pulmonary diagnoses, providing nurses with a strong clinical foundation and opportunities to build advanced assessment and critical thinking skills.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
