Ridgeview Institute Smyrna is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support psychiatric care teams in Smyrna, GA. The RN will document patient information and coordinate care in accordance with the treatment plan.

Applicants must hold GA RN licensure, graduate from an accredited nursing program, CPR/First Aid and CPI training; 3+ years in a psychiatric facility preferred. RIS provides benefits and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program is required.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI Trained and certified.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through the nursing process.
• Document and reassess any significant changes in patient condition.
• Verify the accuracy of patient records and advocate for patient rights.
• Provide education to patients and families and intervene in emergencies as needed.
