Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to Psychiatry patients at our Fergus Falls location. The role includes supervising LPNs, nursing assistants, clerks, and students as assigned, and ensuring high-quality patient care with effective collaboration with families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform within the registered nurse scope of practice.
• Current Healthcare Provider-level CPR certification upon hire or within six months.

Responsibilities

Job Location: Lake Region Healthcare Corporation - FERGUS FALLS, MN 56537, Position Type: 64 Hours Biweekly, Salary Range: $32.68 - $48.83 Hourly, The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to our Psychiatry patients. The RN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, hospital employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position.

The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to supervise others as assigned including LPN’s, nursing assistants, clerks, and students. The RN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, PRHHS employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The RN must be able to provide patient care, secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, and exercise initiative and judgment.

Hours/Shifts

64 hours biweekly, day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $32.68-$48.83. BSN hires are eligible for an extra $1/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Education/Special Skills:

• Reliable attendance and ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites.
