Qualifications

• Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it thereafter.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team processes in behavioral health.
• Understanding continuum of care in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient condition and document care in the EMR.
• Respond to psychiatric crises using de-escalation techniques.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide patient education.
• Implement seclusion and restraint procedures per policy when clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, social workers, and the care team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning.
• Promote patient safety, recovery, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

Department: Behavioral Health - Adult Intensive Unit (Males)

Schedule: Full Time – Nights (3–12 hour shifts, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.).

Hourly Rate: $35.35 to $53.58 an hour.

Bonus: $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus available for qualified candidates (eligibility and payout terms apply).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient condition and document care in the EMR.
• Respond to psychiatric crises using appropriate de‑escalation and intervention techniques.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide patient education.
• Implement seclusion and restraint procedures in accordance with policy when clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, social workers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, coping strategies, and discharge planning.
