Job summary

Sunplex Subacute Center in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN day and night shifts. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, including medication administration and ADL support, while upholding facility policies and professional standards.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in good standing and a current BLS certification, with prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and deliver care including medication administration, treatments, ADL care as ordered.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure quality care.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians and supervisor regarding resident status.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records during tour of duty on assigned unit.
• Perform other tasks as required.

PRN (Day & Nights)

Registered Nurse ( RN ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Evaluation and delivery of care including medication administration, treatments, Adl care, etc. as ordered by physician and outlined in the plan of care (according to scope of practice)
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure resident/patients receive quality care based on professional standards and facility policies
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians and supervisor regarding resident status
• Maintain up to date and accurate medical records during tour of duty on assigned unit.
• Other tasks as required

Requirements

• Registered Nurse ( RN ) license in good standing required
• BLS license required
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
