RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Admissions Testing at the Somerset campus. The RN will assess patients, administer care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality admissions testing.

The role requires a current NJ RN license, BLS, and EMR proficiency. Per diem day shift with rotating weekends and holidays; strong emphasis on patient education, documentation, and continuity of care within a supportive team that values professional growth

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification, ACLS and PALS. ASN or Nursing diploma required. If candidate possesses ASN or Nursing diploma, must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire date. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Previous Acute Care experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year in-hospital or out-patient RN experience.

This position offers a consistent per diem day shift with required rotating weekends as well as rotating holidays, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
