Job summary

Universal Health Services’s Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is seeking a registered nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery to join our team. This role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care on the continuum of obstetric services, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

You’ll provide assessments, manage pain, invasive lines, and surgical drains on assigned units, while adhering to hospital policies and core values.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery, Nursery and Couplet Care.
• California RN license required.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required (every two years).
• NRP certification (AAP and AHA) required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care on assigned units, with collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and family needs.
• Manage pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.
• Practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies and core values.

Southwest HealthcareRancho Springs Hospital inMurrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement
