Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor/Delivery team. The role emphasizes fetal monitoring, postpartum and nursery care in a high‑acuity setting, supported by UHS’s nationwide network.

Applicants must hold a California RN license and current AWHONN, NRP, ACLS and BLS certifications; prior Labor/Delivery experience is required.

Qualifications

• AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program).

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

• NRP Successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA.

• BLS
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery required.
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Post Partum, preferred.
• RN’s with less than one-year experience must complete a 12 - 16 week preceptorship program.
