Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Labor/Delivery and Nursery teams. You will provide compassionate patient care, monitor fetal status, and support mothers and families through evidence-based practices.

Candidates must hold a California RN license and complete required obstetric certifications, with at least one year of Labor/Delivery and Nursery experience.

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California

is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements

• California RN license.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Successful completion of course every two years.
• AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program).
• NRP Successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA.
• ACLS
• BLS
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery required.
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Post Partum, preferred.
• RN’s with less than one-year experience must complete a 12 - 16 week preceptorship program.
