Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA, is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse to join our acute care team. You will provide patient assessments, treatments and care on assigned units, with emphasis on comfort, safety, and family-centered care.

This role supports pain management, invasive lines and drains, while adhering to hospital policies and our Core Values. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke, and California RN licensure.

Qualifications

• One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current California RN license with active registration.
• BLS (AHA) certification, ACLS (AHA) certification, NIH Stroke Certification.

Responsibilities

• Staff Registered Nurses provide excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, with assessments, treatment and care on assigned units.
• Care for patients throughout the continuum, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains, and adherence to regulatory and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification to be completed by end of the week of NEO
• Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
