A leading rehabilitation facility in Saddle Brook is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem shifts. As an RN, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant to manage patient care, conduct assessments, and ensure accurate documentation using EPIC. Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: 300 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663
Schedule: Per Diem (PRN), 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Days) or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
Compensation: $52.00/Hour + Shift Differential

Opportunity to pick up shifts at our Northern locations: Chester, Saddle Brook, and West Orange. Mileage reimbursement available when traveling to a satellite campus.

Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• On each shift, partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load. Help patients achieve goals and milestones based on their care plans.
• Receive admissions and/or transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid State RN License required
• BLS required at hire
• Minimum of 1 year as a full-time RN in an acute care, med/surg, acute medical rehabilitation or related hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred
• Clinical experience preferred

Per Diem Requirement: Four shifts per 6-week schedule. One Saturday or Sunday, one minor holiday/ major holiday.
