Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Saddle Brook, NJ is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts (7 AM–7:30 PM) at 300 Market St. The role includes admissions, assessments, and care planning within an inpatient rehab setting. You will collaborate with Nursing Assistants to support patients toward their individualized goals.

Requirements include valid RN license in New Jersey and BLS. BSN or enrollment preferred; clinical experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• On each shift, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load.
• Assist with admissions/transfers, initial and ongoing patient assessments, and timely documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment data, labs and telemetry; ensure medical orders are transcribed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and educate patients and families.

Compensation: $46.00/Hour - $61.93/Hour (Based on Experience)+ Shift Differential

Responsibilities

On each shift, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load.Together, you will help our patients achieve the outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plan.

• Receiving admissions and/or transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.
