Norman Regional Health System's Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver specialized cardiac care in a fast-paced environment. You will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
The role requires an Oklahoma RN license with BLS, and new grads may participate in the Nurse Residency Program during orientation.
The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) at Norman Regional Health System is a fast‑paced, critical care environment providing specialized, high‑acuity care to patients with cardiac conditions, both pre‑ and post‑procedure. In addition to caring for patients undergoing a wide range of cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and Micra‑pacemaker insertions, and cardiac ablation, we also care for patients hospitalized with a variety of cardiac diagnoses.
Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Previous experience in healthcare field preferred.
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re‑training for duration of employment. New grads are required to complete Norman Regional’s Nurse Residency Program.
