Lourdes Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in a 3x12 night shift. The role is a full-time, union position with a wage scale of $42.14–$78.11 per hour and a $10,000–$20,000 commitment-incentive bonus.

The department operates 24/7 with trauma and stroke capabilities and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants should hold an RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited school; ACLS/BCLS/PALS and NIHSS within 90 days are required, with 1–3 years

Qualifikationen

• Current state RN license and nursing degree from accredited school.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• 1–3 years RN ED experience preferred.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire
• 1 to 3 years of RN Emergency Department experience required
