Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our compassionate care team. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered with full-time employment, along with a new wage scale and base RN/LPN rates plus differential.

Must hold an unrestricted RN or LPN license and provide quality resident care in a supportive environment. Under the Director of Nursing, the RN/LPN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, education and services, supervising CNAs

• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and provide nursing care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit and ensure staff competency.
• Provide safe medication-related interventions for residents.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop and implement a care plan and nursing interventions.

Job description

Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

• $7,500 Sign On Bonus with full time employment

• Base LPN rate of $30 - $33 + Diff
• Base RN reate of $35 - $38 + Diff

Applicant must have unrestricted RN / LPN license.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the RN and/or LPN may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.
