Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift, part-time Surgical (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The role involves ensuring safe patient movement, monitoring, and coordination of the surgical team to support optimal outcomes.

The successful candidate will have an accredited nursing degree, Oklahoma RN license, and BLS/ACLS credentials with a focus on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced OR setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective patient care.
• Demonstrate ability to provide age-appropriate care for patients on the unit.
• Plan and modify the care plan to deliver efficient and quality patient care as described in department policies.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• CNOR.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in the area of application.
