Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS certification
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care according to HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective patient care.
• Demonstrate the knowledge to provide age-appropriate care for patients on the assigned unit.
• Assess data reflecting patient status and identify age-specific needs.
• Plan and implement the care plan in accordance with Patient Care policies and procedures and the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
