Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a part-time, day shift OR Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring age-appropriate care and adherence to established policies while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care activities in accordance with standards to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over the life span and interpret information needed to identify patient requirements relative to age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with policies to deliver quality care.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.

• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• CNOR.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in the area of application.
