Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse (RN).

You will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care in accordance with standards while ensuring age-appropriate care and safety. Oklahoma RN licensure, BLS, ACLS are required; CNOR preferred; 1 year of OR experience preferred. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience in a surgical/OR setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care in accordance with standards to deliver efficient, quality patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge to provide age-appropriate care for patients on the assigned unit.
• Assess data reflecting patient status and interpret information to identify patient needs by age-specific requirements.
• Develop, modify and implement the plan of care in line with standards and policies to deliver effective patient care.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
