Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse to join our OR team. You will support perioperative care, coordinate with surgeons and staff to deliver safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• CNOR preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience in a perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care activities per standards to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrate the ability to care for patients across age groups on the assigned unit.
• Assess patient data, identify needs and tailor plans of care accordingly.
• Develop and implement care plans in line with policies and procedures.
• Comply with Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS certification
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Job Requirements:

• CNOR
• At least one year of experience as an RN in the area of application
