Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Doctors Medical Center of Modesto in California. The RN will provide direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations in the surgical setting, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, efficient care.
The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 (based on experience), a full-time schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package. BSN preferred; CA RN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/TCAR timelines apply.
Qualifications
- BSN preferred.
- 2 years+ of Surgery experience.
- Current California RN license.
- Current BLS.
- ACLS within nine months (within one year for new graduates).
- PALS within one year.
- TCAR required within 12 months of hire/transfer.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patients in the surgical environment.
- Monitor patient physiology in the immediate operative period and communicate with surgeon/anesthesiologist.
- Maintain homeostasis and respond to intraoperative changes as directed.
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Shift: Rotate
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services/Operations Coordinator/Shift Manager/Designee, the Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. The RN is responsible for monitoring the patient’s physiological status in the immediate operative period. Communicates with the surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient conditions and receives direction for patient management. Intercedes to maintain optimum homeostasis.

BSN preferred
2 years+ of Surgery experience required
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS
- ACLS within nine months (within one year for new graduates)
- PALS within one year
- TCAR required within 12 months of hire/transfer
- Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking
- Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.
- Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
- Manual dexterity and mobility
- Ability to move quickly
