Seeking an experienced RN for a 36-bed adult inpatient Solid Tumor Oncology Unit. This position requires a minimum of one year of licensed RN experience. The schedule is a 36-hour day/night rotation that includes weekends and holidays.
The RN is responsible for providing competent, compassionate, and individualized nursing care for specific patients, including delegation to and supervision of non-professional clinical and support staff. The RN is accountable for the overall nursing care management of a designated group of patients. Collaboration with the Nursing Director and the Patient Care Team is essential to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Nurses also work with patients to meet their needs and expectations. Staff nurses ensure that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely, and culturally, spiritually, and ethnically sensitive.
