Job summary

Hillsdale Hospital in Hillsdale, MI seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team on the night shift. You will monitor labor, administer medications, and support mothers and newborns through the birth process.

The role includes night-shift premiums, relocation assistance for those living beyond 75 miles, and student loan repayment up to $5,250. Benefits include PTO, 403(b) with match, and on-site education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Michigan RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
• BLS required; ACLS, NRP, and TEAM certifications due within one year of hire (available through Hillsdale Hospital).

Responsibilities

• Take vitals for the mom and baby.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Monitor contractions and fetal status.
• Identify complications during labor and delivery.
• Communicate mom’s condition and needs to the CNM/physician.
• Coach the mom during labor and delivery.
• Care for mom postpartum and for the newborn.
• Participate in unit/hospital quality improvement initiatives.

Offering Relocation Assistance if you live more than 75 miles from the hospital, plus we'll pay up to $5,250 on your student loan!

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

Full Time (Nights) 7:00 pm to 7:00 am | 36 hours/week, including every other or every third weekend

• 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour
• 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour
• weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license
• At least one year of RN experience required, preferably in Labor and Delivery
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• BLS required, ACLS, NRP, and TEAM certifications required within one year of hire - all are available through Hillsdale Hospital
