Job summary

Hillsdale Hospital in south central Michigan is hiring registered nurses for full-time day or night shifts with a 36-hour work week. Eligible for relocation assistance and a one-time $5,250 payment toward your RN student loan, plus comprehensive benefits.

You’ll treat and monitor patients, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support patient education and health maintenance. On-site education and certification opportunities are available to advance your career in a rural healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license (could possibly start as a GN while obtaining MI endorsement).
• Experience preferred but not required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TEAMS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital).

Responsibilities

• Treat and monitor patients’ conditions while maintaining accurate, detailed and confidential reports and records.
• Consult with and advise patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Create a comfortable environment for patients and families using a non-judgmental, compassionate attitude and open communication.
• Work cohesively with healthcare team to assess, administer and evaluate individual patient care plans.

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

• Full Time (Days) | 7am to 7 pm | 3 days / 36 hours/week including every other weekend
• Or Full Time (Nights) | 7pm to 7am | 3 days / 36 hours/week including every other weekend
• 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour
• 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour
• Weekend premium is $2.00/hour

Requirements
