Job summary

Belle Terrace is hiring full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) for the night shift. Starting rate is $37 per hour, with potential to earn up to $44/hour under the new wage scale. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Join our interdisciplinary team to deliver direct care, administer treatments and medications, and organize daily assignments aligned with each resident’s plan of care. Previous long-term care experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN in Pennsylvania.
• Previous long-term care experience is desirable but not necessary; computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatments and medications to residents.
• Organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff.
• Supervises direct care staff and makes decisions about resident care needs during shifts.
• Ensures that “Flow of Care” is followed.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing services delivered to assigned residents of a designated unit for one shift. The RN provides direct care, administers treatments and medications, organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff consistent with staff competency and each individual resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. The RN supervises direct care staff and makes decisions about resident care needs during shifts concerning scope of clinical competence, consistent with facility policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse ensures that “Flow of Care” is followed.

Requirements
