Job summary

Belle Terrace in Quakertown, PA is hiring full-time Registered Nurses to provide compassionate nursing care for residents. You will join an interdisciplinary team and supervise staff while delivering direct care, medications, and treatments within a designated unit per the plan of care.

New management emphasizes quality of life and resident well-being. Education and Pennsylvania RN licensure are required; long-term care experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN in Pennsylvania.
• Previous long-term care experience is desirable but not necessary. Computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, administer treatments and medications.
• Organize and distribute daily assignments to direct care staff.
• Supervise direct care staff and make decisions about resident care needs during shifts; ensure Flow of Care per policies.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing services delivered to assigned residents of a designated unit for one shift. The RN provides direct care, administers treatments and medications, organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff consistent with staff competency and each individual resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. The RN supervises direct care staff and makes decisions about resident care needs during shifts concerning scope of clinical competence, consistent with facility policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse ensures that “Flow of Care” is followed.
